Look into The Yellow Black and Decker (DeWalt) cordless offering.
My Bostitch cordless nailers are gas actuated stuff, just like the old Paslode stuff.
But, the gas goes stale ... I've played with the YBW cordless (no gas, pure battery) and it'll fire in bump mode.
