If someone can come up with a 220 volt rheostat the shop juice would be fine. The hand crank was for fun...fun with varying amounts of juice. Don't want to smoke them hanglers off in one blast...gotta drag it out...real slow like. Couple of long slow cranks here...short strong burst there. Throw in some where you crank it but nothing happens. You want him to have some terrifying anticipatory times whilst dangling by his hanglers...right?
