I'll put a buck boost transformer on that 220 and boost it up to 480 volts. Then like what Wayne suggested, I have a very large rheostat with a 12" dia. crank for adjustment...we could put it on momentary push button as to not end the fun too soon and take turns pushing the button...either that or we use a proximity switch to co inside with the hammer.
