dentures, if you can get some you can stand, might be the way to go. Previous or nearly simultaneously to the root canal I had a four tooth bridge put in...two teeth that got shot out with a BB gun back in '72 and the two good teeth they ground down in order to hang the bridge off from...that cost 5K minus some dental insurance...maybe about 800 bucks worth. So I spent 6400 hundred on dental work in the last two weeks when I had only planned for the 4200 and I still have to get the crown on the root canal tooth.

I don't know what dentures go for but I'd bet they're a damn sight less than that! I would also bet a good set isn't very cheap.

Maybe we should go back to the George Washington days and start carving dentures out of wood.
