My wife had two root canals done last week. Well, not exactly done. It's a three trip procedure. Always done by a specialty clinic.

Years ago, root canals were considered an emergency procedure. You could get your dentist out of bed on a Sunday night and they'd meet you at their office. It was a one and done.

Now, it's three trips ..... good bloody grief.

The more we get into third party pay .... everything becomes more involved and substantially more expensive.

Ain't modern medicine great?
