.45-70 Gov is a great cartridge, especially if you live in a state that allows only straight wall cartridges of deer.
I have a Browning Low Wall in .45-70. Single shot, but it's harvested its fair share.
The "Golden Boy" is rimfire (.22 Long Rifle, l17 HMR, and .22 WMR).
If you have a Henry Lever Gun in .4570, it's probably the Henry Brass, if it has the golden receiver, which is a fine firearm.
That particular cartridge was the favorite of Buffalo hunters, back in the black powder days (Spencer, etc.).
Today's firearms, such as that Henry, can handle the nitro loads.
I know very little about shooting radiators, but if they could bring down tens of thousands of North American Bison ... should work out for cars.
