So one has to ask what is the point of owning one since then. At least the 4" hand guns and many other prohibited guns that were grandfathered can still be fired at a range. And can be bought and sold until one dies. There are still matches with these guns for those that own them too. What would concern me with owning a fully automatic grandfathered machine gun is that it is on record of who and where you are. So if there is 'any' domestic disturbance at your residence, the home is red flagged for this and the police that come will be in a very aggressive mindset. Perhaps send even Emergency Response types. Not a good thing,lol. Best to keep it quiet at home and don't fight with relatives or the neighbors. High price to pay just to look at a machine gun type of firearm you can't shoot anyways. I don't think I'd bother with them myself.
