That is correct. Day time hours are the daily market charts. Over night are over night markets.
One can make any time frame charts they want to make. Intraday, daily, over night, combined daily-over night, weekly, monthly and others. But day markets and night markets are different. I guess it would be like someone using a one minute chart. Just because one bar ended and another started doesn't mean it is a new day. It is just a new bar. I just figured maybe you were testing someone new idea on a new way of charting. Seems like STRs 7-10 ideas are from many years ago back when there was only day markets 6 days a week, because there was trading on saturdays back then.
