Re: I've developed a new pastime...
I've been shooting .41 Remington Magnum for years. Old Three Screw Ruger Blackhawk. New Model Blackhawk (because some c'boy shot hisself in the leg drivin' his pickemup truck, redesign time) and in a Henry Big Boy (those suckers iz purty). Supposedly the recoil is similar to the .44 Mag ... even with my old fart arthritic wrists ... no problem. This little gem might be a tad too much. I'll find out tomorrow.
Still, you must admit that she's a pretty little pocket pistol.
Whereas, most shoot 'em with rigid arms, with these guys, leave arms slightly bent and take some extra time for alignment of the next shot.
As far as ammunition, I can get Horandy 260 grain Or HSM 325 grain "Bear Loads" for around a buck a round .... inclusive of shipping, purchasing enough quantity for the ol' "free shipping".
Five shot cylinder ... So, five bucks a fill-up. Not really a paper puncher.
