Re: I've developed a new pastime...

Wild turkey differs quite a bit from the commercial Broad Breasted Whites. More tendons, not nearly the breast size, and more muscular meat. But, if brined properly and smoked ... hard to beat. One problem, taste wise, is that many, if not most, turkey hunters .. whether shotgun or bow, skin the bird, as opposed to plucking.

If you do a decent job of plucking, brining, and smoking ... in my opinion ... beats the hayull out of the store bought Broad Breasted Whites.

Side note. I knew a feller that was raising ten 'r so, from chicks. When he told me about the hybrid, I used one of them new fangled search engine thing-a-ma-jigs. And, I ain't talkin' none of that pornography stuff .... using Bing, gurgle, and duckduckgo ... the pictures that came up were scantily dressed women ... that had some gazoongas.

My wife, being a japaner 'n all ... I must say ... I didn't know that they could grow 'em that big. And, not all of the "broad breasted" were "whites". They had pictures of European descent, African descent, 'n some Mezskin ladies. Definitely not all white.

That was around seven years ago. I'm wondering if I'll get the same results. Off to the search engines.
