Re: WTI Breaks 90 To the Upside

This time of year, canning goods (Ball jars and lids) aren't priced for movement. Typically, in the springtime, there are featured sales and items are pushed at half price.

Ace Hardware, in this area, during their seasonal sales, seem to have the lowest prices for Ball jars and lids.

I don't know if that pattern will continue with the shipping crap and Covid mess. However, in times past, spring was when they really pushed the sales, frequently less than half of normal prices.

Canning is easy. Fill the jar with what you desire canned. Don't overfill. Place the lid on jar. Place jar in water bath. Boil water until you hear the lid "pop", as that is when it is full sealed.

That's about it.

28 gauge around here is scarcer than hen's teeth. Especially, in #9 shot (skeet loads). .410 also is not readily available. Twelve and twenty are always available. However, to find skeet loads (#9 shot) is next to impossible. 8 is common and hunting loads, such as 4 and 6 seem to always be in stock.

For anything in #9, I have to order online. 28, in #9, seems to always be out of stock, even on the big ammo sites.

Canning is easy. You can even do it outside with a wood fire.
