Re: New tax plan does nothing for retirees

You are hardly the average retiree. and, I am always quick to the soapbox with comments on something I just recently read or surmised. lol. It looks to me like the average retiree gets the red hot poker for the umteenth time.

How this will go is as always..... The average retired person is made poorer and, after DC is caught with its hand in the cookie jar yet again, the pols will say "We were wrong but will now change our ways!" However, as usual, the average retiree will not be made whole in funds, rather, they will be paid with "lip-service" in compensation. As always.

The weather is the tipping point. Something out of the control of the playas and it will be what brings it all down. Entries for the history books. "And the old citizens, their savings gone, had nothing to lose.....no-one could have believed false teeth could rip apart so large a scheme....."
