Trigger control...
Practice firing without ammo in a safe place as much as you can for 8 weeks. 1911's have a trigger reset...learn to use it.
I've put together trigger pulls as low as 1-1/2 lb pulls...Most of mine are set at 4 lbs with a couple at 3 -1/4 lbs
Press the trigger don't pull...dry fire as much as you can and look at the front sight not the target...you will be surprised at how much you will improve
