Thanks Spike. Great advice ... but I'm worthless. My question is this ... long ago in a planetary system far away ... I did gunsmithing. I've restored several Parkers and (seemingly) countless LC Smiths ... and more than a few rifles. We were always instructed to never, under any circumstances, dry fire. I had snap caps for pretty much anything that I've ever owned or worked on.

So, it's OK to dry fire? Anybody wanna buy a whoooooooooooooole bunch of snap caps?
